Join our team as a Deskside Technician and play a key role in supporting a complex industrial IT environment while working closely with our experienced local and remote teams. In this role, you will provide hands-on device management, support critical on-site operations and ensure smooth IT service delivery across the organization. Your profile
- Experience in IT support or IT system administration
- Full-time availability during regular business hours
- Mandatory 5-day presence on site
- Experience with ServiceNow (ITSM) and CMDB updates
- Practical experience with SAP (authorizations, application support, incident handling - depending on scope)
- Experience with SCCM (software deployment; packaging an advantage)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Intune
- Experience with industrial devices (ATEX telephones, Zebra printers, barcode scanners)
- Structured, documentation-oriented way of working
- Hungarian language skills
- Willingness to complete the required SEVESO Upper Tier certification (2-day training course)
Your tasks
- Monitoring of tickets assigned to the local team in the ITSM tool, planning of measures and their implementation.
- Replacement of devices and peripherals
- Setting up devices: laptops, desktops, smartphones, printers
- Management of meeting rooms, conference room systems and installed Teams devices
- Management of the local IT inventory (notification of the local ITS site manager if defined thresholds are exceeded).
- Updating the customer's ServiceNow CMDB as required.
- At the customer's request, contribution to special events from an IT perspective (e.g. communication events, seminars, training courses, etc.)
- Replacement of obsolete devices in accordance with the site's life cycle management.
- Forwarding tickets to the corresponding assignment groups
- Creation of AD accounts, assignment of users to distribution lists and AD groups (together with OSS)
- Local installation of software on company devices, including manual patches for devices.
- Ensuring patch management for standard PCs - in cooperation with the cyber security alerts.
- Piloting patch management for non-standard and industrial PCs - in collaboration with the cyber security alerts.
- Coordination of level 1 for printers (MFP and Zebra) (consideration of incoming tickets and forwarding to the printer service provider or the OSS team).
