Your profile
- Several years of practical experience in the field of IT security / cyber security / information security
- Thorough understanding of security principles: confidentiality, integrity, availability
- Experience in at least one of the following areas:
- Penetration testing (OWASP, OSCP-level knowledge is a plus)
- SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel, QRadar, Elastic)
- SOC operations (incident handling, triage, escalation)
- EDR / NDR technologies
- Vulnerability Management
- Cloud Security (Azure / AWS / GCP)
- Identity and Access Management
- Network Security (Firewalls, IDS/IPS, Zero-Trust concepts)
- Experience in incident response, log analysis, and threat detection
- Knowledge of frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, BSI, or MITRE ATT&CK is an advantage.
- Fluent English is required; German language skills are a strong plus.
Your tasks
Depending on the project and seniority level, responsibilities may include the following:
- Monitoring and analysis of security events in SIEM environments
- Investigating and responding to security incidents
- Conducting penetration tests and vulnerability analyses
- Implementation and optimization of detection rules and use cases
- Enhancing security architecture and hardening systems
- Supporting compliance and audit processes
- Collaborating with IT, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to strengthen the overall security architecture
