Become a Dynatrace Platform Engineer and take responsibility for a modern enterprise-scale observability landscape that you will operate, automate and continuously improve. Working fully remotely with an experienced engineering team, you will ensure stability, scalability and seamless integrations in cloud, container and CI/CD environments. If you enjoy building clean architectures, automating everything you can, and shaping how monitoring works across the organization, this position is for you.
Your profile
- Experience in operating the Dynatrace platform and confident handling of managed and (optionally) SaaS environments
- Knowledge of user/role administration, license and capacity management and understanding of how to operate a stable, scalable observability platform from end to end
- Hands-on experience in automation, including API-based workflows, configuration-as-code and scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell, REST APIs, webhooks).
- Sound knowledge of cloud and infrastructure environments (AWS or Azure) and container technologies such as Kubernetes or OpenShift.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible, Helm) and in CI/CD ecosystems (Jenkins, GitLab CI or Azure DevOps).
- Good knowledge of virtualized and local environments (VMware, bare metal) and familiarity with OpenTelemetry concepts and instrumentation.
- Very good knowledge of English
- You enjoy working in a fully remote environment and can collaborate effectively with distributed teams.
Your tasks
- Operation and maintenance of the Dynatrace platform (Managed; later optional SaaS) ensuring stability, performance and continuous improvement
- Managing users, roles, licenses and capacities and maintaining a clean, well-structured platform environment.
- Automation of deployments, configurations and monitoring setups using APIs and configuration-as-code methods.
- Integration of Dynatrace into ITSM systems (e.g. ServiceNow) and ensuring seamless collaboration in incident and change processes.
- Connection and optimization of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps) to support automated monitoring and deployment workflows.
- Identifying optimization opportunities in the infrastructure and applications and supporting the teams in implementing improvements.
- Collaborate on incident and problem management by providing technical analysis and actionable solutions.
- Assess and evaluate new Dynatrace features, versions and capabilities and support their implementation.
- Definition and maintenance of service level objectives (SLOs) and ensuring observability standards for all services.
- Carrying out performance analyses and root cause analyses.
