DevOps Engineer (Azure) – Mid-Level / Senior

• At least 3 years (mid-level) or 5+ years (senior) of relevant experience in DevOps / Platform Engineering
• Practical experience with at least one major cloud platform—Azure, AWS, or GCP. Experience with Azure is particularly valuable, as it is widely used in our customers' environments
• In-depth knowledge of Linux and scripting experience (Bash, PowerShell, or Python)
• Practical experience with container technologies and CI/CD workflows
• Infrastructure-as-Code Mindset
• Fluent spoken and written English; knowledge of German is a plus

Advantageous

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure
• Cloud certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-400, AZ-305, or comparable AWS/GCP certifications
• Experience with Kubernetes in a production environment, including Helm
• Experience with GitOps tools such as Argo CD or Flux
• Knowledge of cloud governance, landing zones, and cost optimization
• Proficiency in German for direct communication with customers in the DACH region
• Experience working in international and distributed teams
• Experience in customer-facing or consulting roles

Depending on the project and your area of expertise, your responsibilities may include the following:

• Design, setup, and operation of CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins)
• Infrastructure as Code Management (Terraform, Bicep/ARM, Ansible)
• Setting Up and Operating Containerized Environments (Docker, Kubernetes / AKS)
• Implementation of monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions (Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
• Close collaboration with development and operations teams to identify opportunities for automation
• Optimizing Cloud Environments for Security and Cost Efficiency

The specific scope of work and technology stack depend on the individual project. We do not expect expert knowledge of all of the technologies listed above—for most of our projects, in-depth knowledge in a few areas and a solid basic understanding of the rest are sufficient.
