Due to increasing customer demand in various industries, we are expanding our SAP consulting and delivery capacities. We are therefore looking for SAP specialists at all seniority levels – from consultants with 1–2 years of practical SAP experience to senior experts with more than 10 years of SAP background – whose main focus is on SAP consulting and system-related customizing activities. This role centers on consulting: understanding business processes, recording and analyzing technical requirements, and translating them into tailor-made SAP solutions through customizing and solution design.
In contrast to pure system operation, this role focuses on consulting, process optimization, and value-adding SAP implementations in both SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA environments. Our projects range from process improvements and change requests to complex SAP transformation initiatives. Your profile
- 1–2 years of practical experience or extensive (10+ years) hands-on experience with SAP systems
- Primary experience in a consulting-focused SAP role (e.g. functional consultant, solution specialist, or customizing-focused expert)
- Extensive experience in SAP customizing and in translating technical requirements into system configurations
- Experience with SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA
- Good understanding of business processes and end-to-end SAP-supported workflows
- Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented approach to work
- Strong communication skills and confident collaboration with specialist departments and IT teams
- Willingness to continuously develop SAP consulting and customizing skills
- Very good English skills; German skills are a big advantage
Desirable (depending on role and seniority level):
- Experience in SAP modules such as MM, SD, FI/CO, IBP, LE, PP, or comparable modules
- ABAP knowledge for debugging purposes or for close collaboration with development teams
- Experience in enterprise or highly regulated environments
- Knowledge of ITIL-based service processes (incident, change, problem management)
- SAP certifications
Your tasks
Your tasks will focus on SAP consulting and customizing and will depend on your level of experience and your technical focus. These include, among other things:
- Advising specialist departments on SAP-supported business processes and possible solutions
- Customizing SAP systems based on technical requirements and change requests
- Translation of technical requirements into SAP configurations and solution designs
- Analysis, optimization, and further development of SAP-based business processes
- Implementation of enhancements through customization and, if necessary, coordination with development teams
- Technical support for testing, integration, and release processes
- Ensuring high-quality documentation and sustainable SAP solutions
- Close collaboration with business users, SAP developers, project teams, and other stakeholders
- Supporting SAP operations in 2nd/3rd level support with a clear focus on analysis, consulting, and continuous improvement rather than purely operational tasks
