We are opening a new position in our 7-person international Scrum team at Services4-IT for a Cloud Developer.
This is a cloud-leaning role positioned at the intersection of platform engineering, DevOps and backend development, with a strong focus on Azure, Terraform, CI/CD and observability.
You will help our AI product scale reliably, securely and cost-efficiently — while staying close enough to the code to contribute backend changes yourself when it matters.
The team operates fully remotely, communicates in English, and follows a mature Scrum process with structured collaboration and clear sprint goals.

Must-haves
- 3–5+ years of hands-on experience as a Cloud, DevOps, Platform or backend-leaning full-stack engineer.
- Expert in FastAPI — production-grade API development with strong awareness of performance and scalability.
- Expert with Ory — deep hands-on experience with identity, authentication and access control.
- Expert with Grafana — advanced monitoring, dashboards and alerting in real environments.
- Expert in CI/CD — ability to design and operate robust delivery pipelines end-to-end.
- Expert in Azure — strong command of core services and common architecture patterns.
- Expert in Terraform / Infrastructure as Code — production-grade IaC experience, not just toy projects.
- Expert with DigitalOcean — practical operational experience.
- Expert with Git — clean history, disciplined code review culture.
- Fluent English — written and spoken; our working language.
Working knowledge expected
- Python — enough proficiency to work independently within the backend codebase.
- PostgreSQL — confident with schema design, queries and basic performance tuning.
- Docker — containerization as a natural part of your daily workflow.
- AI prompts and AI agents — not required to be an AI specialist, but comfortable working in an AI-centric product environment.

Ihre Aufgaben
- Design, operate and continuously evolve our cloud infrastructure on Azure and DigitalOcean, using Terraform as the single source of truth.
- Own and improve our CI/CD pipelines — ensuring fast, reliable and trustworthy delivery across the entire team.
- Build and maintain the observability stack in Grafana, including dashboards, alerting and actionable signals instead of noise.
- Implement and operate identity and access management with Ory across our services.
- Contribute to backend development in Python and FastAPI wherever platform and application responsibilities intersect.
- Containerize and orchestrate services with Docker while shaping our deployment and rollout strategy.
- Participate actively in Scrum ceremonies and collaborate closely with engineers, product and design.
- Help the team keep infrastructure and delivery practices clean, well documented and continuously improving.
